Ugh, I haven't uploaded a post since last Tuesday. I had such good intentions for this second week of blogging too! Despite not being on any of the evil IVF medications (except prenatals and an aspirin/day) I've had a rough weekend. My BBT chart is a complete disaster - not a trend in sight. It's CD 14 and there's also no smiley face from the digital OPK in sight :-(
It might be a no-ovulation month or maybe it was back on CD2 when my temp dipped! (crazy, I've apparently ovulated CD8 before, but CD2 would be ridiculous)
Much crying the last two mornings (why mornings?) despite having had fairly decent nights' rests both nights. How is it that I'm letting a non-medicated, non-IUI, non-IVF cycle be so stressful? I should be happy about the frequent 'relations' (love that word that my Dr.Dry uses....it seems so old-fashioned!) required on a try-on-your-own cycle. And I am. But.....I'd be happier if my body had a clue about when to ovulate and did so with some clear signs.
Anyhow, off to the Dr. tomorrow morning re: the possible lap. I think the appointment will be fine. We'll decide to do it or not and go from there.
It's just that this all drags on seemingly endlessly.
In other news, I finally stopped procrastinating on the consulting project I'm working on and put some serious time into it today (of course, my self-imposed deadline for a preliminary draft is tomorrow). In other other news, the procrastinating all this last week has meant that I've been totally rocking the workouts (run every other day, alternating swimming and spinning on in-between days and a rest day with yoga on Friday's). Of course, this is all so I can delay doing the consulting work :-) And for my efforts? I gained two pounds! I'm hoping that's muscle mass (but it could have been the hazlenut gelato on Thursday afternoon....) ;-)

Great job on rocking the workouts!!! I'm so sorry this TTC is such a bad rollercoaster for you - isn't it amazing the craziness we can put ourselves through? Believe me - I have SO been there!!! Hang in there, and good luck on your appointment about the lap!
