We have a heartbeat!

And I even saw it on the ultrasound! So cool!

The 'pregnancy' - as Dr.Dry called it - is measuring 6w1d although he said that could be a little off because the pregnancy is hiding in the corner of the gestational sac. The measurements are +/- 3d anyhow. (And I'm 6w3d today, apparently.)

There's a good size gestational sac he said. (Is that good? I guess so.....)

He did see 3 spots on my left ovary which might be cysts or, after reviewing things, he said might be endometriomas - I guess leftover from my laparoscopy (which was supposed to have zapped all of those into oblivion). Anyhow, he wasn't worried but said they'd watch them.

I have to start taking Folgard along with the prenatals I've already been taking and they're having me continue the baby aspirin given my history and just to be sure. Belts and suspenders, I think.

I was told I could schedule the next scan for anytime between 7 to 10 days so I scheduled for next Wednesday afternoon when Mr.Right doesn't see patients and can come with me! woo hoo!

It was really so amazing to see the heartbeat.....this little pulsing action. Wild!!
