Finally, CD1

Alrighty then. I've found out what it takes to get AF to come on fully: a little breakdown last night at about 10 p.m. Me: fighting with Mr.Right over the precise language we would use in our evite reminder for big housewarming party this Sunday: Me: ending up in tears storming off up to bed. MrRight: coming to comfort me. Me: crying and whining about no AF, my stupid, unpredictable body, my complete fed-up-ness with this infertility nonsense, wanting it just to be over! over! over! Me: finally calming down and going to the bathroom to see that AF had, indeed, finally, fully arrived. Sigh. All that fretting for nothing.

I'm not even sure why I was fretting so much. There's really little chance one or two days of weird light spotting (untypical for me at the start of a cycle) and delay would much screw things up. We're just doing Clomid/Ovidrel/Vivelle/Ganirelix this month with no attempt to get pregnant in order to try to give me a 'normal' cycle leading into stim cycle.

Anyhow, it's here. Sunday morning b/w and u/s and probably start Clomid on Sunday night.

Yes, a lovely appointment on Sunday morning as we prepare to have 50-60 people show up Sunday afternoon for our new house party. Fantastic timing, yes.

Oh well, we'll make it through. And puppy arrives (well, I have to go drive and get her) on Monday!! :-)

  3. Ack! Stress! I hope the party is great and the u/s shows that you're off on a propitious cycle.
