2 days into the 2ww

IUI on Friday was - as usual - quick and painless. BabyDoc did the IUI and he's always nice. As for the other staff, I've been there so long and so many times, the regulars know me and don't even bother to go through their usual spiel when they take me into an exam room. They just say, "you know what you're doing, right?" :-)

Immediately afterwards, I hopped in the car back to my MIL's house 2.5 hours away. Her surgery went really well on Thursday morning and mostly she just has to keep her foot elevated but can get up and around with a walker. Mr.Right drove up Friday night after work and we've had a pretty relaxing weekend. Went clothes shopping at some nearby outlets yesterday afternoon and took a late afternoon run before having steamed crabs for dinner.

I did start to minorly melt down last night after dinner ~ 8:00 p.m. I didn't sleep long either Thursday night or Friday night and I was just really in sleep deficit. Mr.Right asked me if I thought it was the progesterone, but really, I'd only started the prometrium that day and usually it takes a day or two or three to build up to its evil proportions.

I managed to sleep until about 6 a.m. this morning though (after getting in bed about 8:30) and so I feel a lot better. Girding myself, though, for the progesterone this week and next. Beta scheduled for Friday, May 21 at 8 a.m. I have lots and lots to do these next 2 weeks to get our house ready to show/sell so I'm hoping that pulls me through.

  1. Good luck with the 2WW - it's pure torture, isn't it??? And I hate the progesterone too - turns me into a walking rollercoaster of emotions!!!

  3. Hang in there! The 2WW always sucks, doesn't it? I'm constantly psyching myself out about every little thing. It's good though that you have lots to keep you occupied--that always helps me.

Keeping fingers crossed that this is finally your month! We endo girls need more success stories!!
