I'm so grateful for all of the husband and puppy advice!! Things went better last night over dinner with Mr.Right. We both apologized for things we said the night before. I'm still not quite sure why I feel so resistant to trying to curb and/or change my style of venting, but I've decided I need to do it even if I don't want to (I feel a bit like a petulant child about this.....and that's never good.) Looking back at my post, I guess when you're already asking yourself the question about whether you should change, you probably already know the answer ;-) Also, I've scheduled a session with the counselor I've been seeing for next week. MrRight and I will see her again together the following week and keep working on this.
Puppy training seems to be going better too! I never thought I'd spend so much time talking about poop (well, until I had a baby, that is). I got so excited yesterday when Jessie pooped promptly after breakfast. And then she went again after dinner (but not after lunch and not in between the whole day.) The books say puppies are supposed to poop 15-30 minutes after they eat, but that's not quit happening yet. But I think we're finally getting there. Have been trying the strict schedule thing and running the poop out of the puppy and I think it's starting to work. Anyhow, no pooping in the crate last night!!
And this getting up with the alarm every 2.5-3 hrs is not so bad. I'm learning to fall back asleep pretty efficiently. And this is good training for a baby, right? ;-)
Going for first vet visit this afternoon. Mr.Right is going to try to join us. Sweet puppy sleeping in front of me in my home office as I'm on a conference call with folks from India and Australia (and yes, also writing this post! bad multi-tasker!!)
In cycle news, bloodwork on Thursday morning at 8 a.m. to check progesterone level. Start Vivelle patch either 8 days from today or tomorrow. Ganirelix on days 2, 3 and 4 of patch and then wait for start of next cycle. Hard telling whether this is going to be the 'normal' cycle that we hope, setting me up for a good entry into our IVF/PGD cycle. It sounds like I was LH surging a bit earlier than expected when they checked on Wednesday. But that's me: I ovulate early and I have a short luteal phase. I have ovulatory disfunction (not to mention bad eggs.) But hopefully, this will work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yay for no poop in the crate! Yes, you are training very well for that baby. Love this!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you and Mr. Right had a good talk. This relationship stuff is hard - kudos to you both for talking through it and continuing to work on it.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!
