+1. 1,214 = beta HCG for today. Nearly doubling in 48 hours, yay! And there was not a hint of concern from my doctor's office about the beta numbers being 'too high' as I fretted earlier today.
+2. Again, the invaluable comments you all sent my way today saved me from Dr. Google and a meltdown. My appreciation is too great to enumerate.
+3. Didn't crash this afternoon despite having been up between ~ 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. this morning. Awoke to a bad dream and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm sure it's the progesterone messing with my sleep patterns. But, happily, I feel ok.
+4. Apparently Dr.Dry is going to throw every last thing he can think of at this pregnancy. Next up: Lovenox. Unclear from my nurse's reading of the results of thrombophilia panel why exactly he has me on Lovenox (the only thing she read was a single mutation related to MTHFR for which she said they usually don't go with Lovenox) but whatever. I'll do whatever I have to do to make this stick.
+5. Bloodwork/ultrasound on Monday. So soon? I don't think we'll see a heartbeat that soon, but I guess he wants to check and see what's in there.
+6. Getting more excited that this my stick at least until we can determine genetic disposition. It feels good.

YAY!!! Oh this is so exciting - doubling beta! I like that Dr. Dry is doing everything he can. Lovenox may not help, but it certainly won't hurt - I say go for it. Just be prepared for some bruising... I love your attitude!!!
ReplyDeleteYay. great numbers. I am very proud of you for staying away from Dr. Google (pure evil).
ReplyDeleteHang in there. I am sending good vibes to you and your new little bean...
Excellent news! I am crossing everything for you and cant wait to see what Monday brings.
ReplyDeleteCool! That sounds good.
ReplyDeleteWonderful News!!! I like the beta numbers, looking better by the day! Stay away from dr google!!!!
ReplyDeleteSUPER!!!!!!! Oh, I am so excited and anxious and happy for you!!! I'm sorry you have to deal with these complicated feelings and can't just be a clueless fertile preggo through this time, but as long as there is a baby at the end of this... oh PLEASE.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so happy!!! I didn't have a chance to respond before you got your second numbers back, but so glad that there is no worry coming form your doctor. (That was going to be my question - they would have said something to you after your first numbers if they were worried...). Yay! As for if they will see a heartbeat on Monday - probably not (so don't be sad if you don't!), but they should see the sac, etc. Fingers crossed that it all goes perfectly! Can't wait to hear the news.
ReplyDeleteYay! This is great news! Google = not a good place for medical questions (but we are all a little guilty at times!) I am so excited for you! Can't wait to hear about your appointment on Monday!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like how this is unfolding so far!
ReplyDeleteI'm super happy for you!
