+1 No alcohol = weight loss. Well, ok, I would be losing if I weren't adding Christmas cookies in lieu of wine. Anyhow, this is how I lost ~15 pounds before our wedding. First I cut back to one glass of wine a night and then cut out wine on Mon-Thurs evenings. PUPO = enforced no-alcohol diet. Bring on the Christmas cookies!
+2 I had lunch with a friend from my old neighborhood and her nearly-one-month-old daughter today. Yes, sometimes I feel a little twinge when I'm with my friends' kids or with my nephews or my cousins' kids, but mostly not. I seem to be able to deal with other people's kids pretty well. I'm glad about that. It's good that IF hasn't taken enjoyment of seeing, playing with, speaking with kids away from me. (Or the passel of kids who went with us to the Kennedy Center last night.)
+3 Improved puppy poop! It's been a long week of loose puppy stool for Jessie. She seems to have a sensitive stomach. Rice and pro-biotic powder seem to have turned things around.

ReplyDeleteMy little stinker was switched to lamb and rice food when he was about 6 months, and his poops have been wonderful since. Sensitive stomach, yes, but he still can eat just abo0ut anything that falls onto the floor!
Good list! I love that your puppy is pooping good - doesn't that make all the difference?
ReplyDeleteYum, Christmas cookies. Can you send me some?
