+1. The evil progesterone seems to be hitting me less hard than in some other times. I remember this from the last pregnancy too......in fact Mr.Right and I both remarked about how much less I seemed to be reacting to the progesterone (that was Prometrium though and this is Endometrin). Regardless, I'll take it.
+2. I've decided to go ahead and get beta done next Thursday (the day they told me to do so after transfer.) I was going to wait until Friday morning because Mr.Right has a business dinner out Thursday night and I didn't want to have to deal with whatever results by myself on Thursday evening. But, instead, I'll be going out late afternoon/early evening for an old friends' 'leaving his job' informal get together at a bar near his office. And, I figure I'll kick myself if I find out on Friday that the result was negative and I could have had drinks Thursday night. If it's positive, of course, I won't be drinking. Wait, is this a positive statement? Well, let's call it a 'silver lining.' The silver lining of a BFN next Thursday will be getting to drink it up with my friend.
+3. Mostly successful first outing with the puppy and her new 'Gentle Leader' collar. Definitely less pulling and lunging! She wasn't exactly happy with the whole situation (a lot of rubbing of her head on the ground and twisting around), but we managed to walk for over an hour, a lot of it with her by my side.

I am hoping that you will not be able to drink as you will have heard great news!! Thinking ++++ thoughts.
ReplyDeleteAh yes - planning betas around drinking events... I have so been there!
ReplyDeleteAren't puppies hilarious the first time they wear gentle leaders? It works - but boy, dogs don't like it!
